About CERWIS of Columbia, South Carolina
CERWIS seeks to follow the teachings set forth in the Holy Qur’an and to follow the sunnah of Prophet Muhammad ( Peace Be Upon Him), and the commentary of Imam W. Deen Mohammed. The Committee gets involved in the outer community as a visible presence, thus educating the public about Al Islam and the role of the Muslim woman in the society.

Our Mission
To create a committee within Masjid As Salaam that will develop and maintain an organization based on Islamic values. A committee that will unite the sisters into a cohesive unit so as to demonstrate faith, unity, responsibility, collective work, self-determination, and creativity.
